Emerging Enterprise Center Launches Co-Working Space

Adding to its array of offerings for entrepreneurs and small businesses, the Emerging Enterprise Center this month launched a Co-Working Space option at its new location on the Wilmington Riverfront with its launch client, Paragon Recruiting.

Emerging Enterprise Co-Working provides not only space and services (such as wi-fi, fax, photocopier, access to meeting and conference rooms) but also a consulting service which is included in the price to help potential startups with business coaching specific to their need: from helping them develop their business concept, to developing a tactical action plan.

The space is aimed not only at startup businesses, but also offers solopreneurs, many of whom work from home, with an “outside the home office” option and a place to meet with clients and partners. Conveniently co-located with the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, Co-Working clients have easy access to the networking and business education events offered by the Chamber and the Emerging Enterprise Center, a huge plus when it comes to growing a business. While membership in the Chamber is not required to participate in the program, members of the New Castle County Chamber do benefit from discounted pricing.

The addition of the Co-Working option rounds out the Center’s offerings with a cohesive range of options available to anyone who is seeking to start a business – whether they’re at the concept stage, or ready to launch.

Additional programs offered by the Emerging Enterprise Center include Business Education, with the upcoming annual Small Business Boot Camp on 3-4 November, a 2-day workshop led by experts in marketing, sales and business operations to help entrepreneurs run a better business.

The Center has also recently focused on developing deeper synergies with local resource partners to better serve the entrepreneurial community. On 7 November the Center will be hosting the monthly Open for Business event simultaneously with Technical.ly Delaware’s “Doing Business with the Banks” and “Technical.ly Introduced” events, as well as a Business Briefing by CEO ThinkTank™. The day is designed to provide small and medium-sized companies access to a wide range of government and business resources in one day, in one place, to help them launch and grow.
