Learn about our featured member, Pessego Designs

Pessego Designs was founded off ambition and a state of wonderment, with a vision to enrich people's lives through the curation of unique and thoughtful designs. Channeling this through their work, they break barriers and challenge the creative mind to create spaces that are tailored to every project. They believe great design comes from an understanding of the client, the space, and the overall goal of the design.

Managing Director, James LeDoux, knew from a very young age that he would be an entrepreneur. He always had the mindset for business and a plan in place. However, this didn’t dilute his creative side. Since a young age, James had an affinity for design. James began exploring his creative side by studying Marketing and graduating with an Associate of Arts from the University of Delaware. Later, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from Pennsylvania State University.

During his studies, James started his career as a Location Manager, learning about ordering, tracking, and plan implementation. He then took on a new role as a Sales Manager, learning about negotiating, team management, and goal setting. Following this, James held the role as a Project Manager, overseeing multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all deliverables. Finally, he most recently took on a role in trade sales representing twenty-two designers on the east coast and in Europe.

Creative Director, Ericka Keen, knew from a very young age that the career she was meant to pursue wasn’t going to be a common one; she always had a creative side. In high school, Ericka pursued an art pathway which helped to prepare her for college. She received her Associate of Arts in Interior Design from Delaware Technical and Community College and her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design with a minor in Architectural History from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

After graduating from SCAD, Ericka took on roles within the industry to expand her knowledge and gain valuable experience. She first worked in the tile industry, where she increased her knowledge of materials and design. Following this, she took on a role with a construction company, exposing her to the management and design of large scale projects.
