Members in Action - Chesapeake Utilities

Chamber Member organizations across the state are answering the call to support the coronavirus (COVID-19) response effort.

Donating $200,000 to Support Communities During Coronavirus Response. Chesapeake Utilities is committed to helping support our customers and communities, especially those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  They recently announced that the Company (including our subsidiaries) will be donating $200,000 to organizations supporting communities impacted by the spread of the coronavirus.

These donations will support organizations such as Feeding America, United Way and The Salvation Army as they provide food assistance, financial resources and address short-term and long-term community needs.

For years, Chesapeake Utilities has also supported our customers through our SHARING program, a nonprofit organization that provides funds to our natural gas and propane gas customers living on the Delmarva Peninsula who need financial assistance to pay their natural gas and propane bills.

Chesapeake Utilities announced a special SHARING program grant that is now available to customers who have been economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Customers can see if they qualify by applying for a one-time grant on our SHARING website at www.chesapeakesharing.com.

Chesapeake Utilities cares about the communities they serve and those who have been affected by the virus.
