Representative Bryon Short (D-Highland Woods) is currently being honored on the floor by his House colleagues. After more than a decade of service Bryon is retiring.

A small business owner, dedicated husband and father, Bryon’s reputation in Dover has been of the highest caliber. He is among the most respected and trusted members of the Delaware General Assembly.

He was the co-founder of the House Small Business Caucus, Chairman of the House Economic Development, Banking, Insurance and Commerce Committee and has been a staunch advocate for small business and a commonsense approach to public policy.

He is a past recipient of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce Free Enterprise Award and a good friend of our organization.
