This event is a part of a three part series. When you register for this, you are paying for three events (video - watch on your own time, face to face event - March 11, and a roundtable discussion/certificate ceremony - April 7) The Emerging Enterprise Center colocated in the New Castle Chamber of Commerce along with Goldey-Beacom College is initiating a professional development curriculum for the business community. This quarterly certificate program will enable you to gain a working understanding of business topics from our local colleges and universities while networking with others in the business community. These are in direct response to you, our members', requests to offer professional development. This first quarter?s topic will be an introduction to marketing and will include a video presentation by Dr. Dan Young on the five major topics of marketing. Click here to watch the video for free. And way too many of them significantly undervalue themselves in the process; their time, their expertise and the added value! There are several factors that influence what you can and should charge customers: competition, industry practices, demand, and your costs are just some of them. By using an arbitrary percentage, for example, cost times could cause you to miss out on some profit opportunity.
