How to Pitch the Right Way to Expand Your Network:
When you talk about your business or your product, are you telling your audience what THEY want to hear, or what YOU want to tell them? By being able to explain briefly and concisely your concept to others so that they understand how it can be of benefit to THEM, you will have better chances of expanding your network and customer portfolio.
In this class, we talk about the 'elevator pitch' and key message points as you adjust your pitch to your audience.

- Pitch should be tailored to audience (customer, investor, supplier, media)
- Clear, concise, compelling message (demonstrating value proposition, supported with facts)

Ashley Owens Bio:
As a Networking Concierge, Ashley works as a strategic partner during networking events and takes away the tedious task of the dreaded followup. Taking the mind-numbing work off your shoulders, she works the room with you to collect double the relevant business cards in half the time. She has had the wonderful opportunity to start her career as a personal and executive assistant to two celebrities in NYC. Her experience in networking grew as she obtained positions in customer service, business analytics and account management. With a vast business network and having a unique experience and exposure in a multitude of industries, she recognizes the challenges her peers faced, e.g., maintaining the influx of prospects, attending networking events alone, and managing the most valuable thing that people have – time. Staying true to her passion, Ashley is about giving other entrepreneurs a platform and voice. Ashley is the host of a successful TV show on RVNTV called Connect to Success where she interviews power networkers weekly. She is a co-host of a podcast called "Successfully Screwed" where entrepreneurs share their screw ups, allowing all business owners to relate to the messiness of entrepreneurship. She is also a resident program expert on This is it TV, and co-host of the variety show with MyNew Philly. In addition to working with her amazing clients, she runs a monthly networking event, Cocktails and Conversation, which partners up with nonprofits to help fund their monthly projects.
