These are challenging times in the First State. Before June 30, the Delaware General Assembly and the Carney Administration must close a nearly $400 million budget gap to balance the budget. As the Carney Administration confronts that significant challenge, numerous other issues confront state government. Corrections reform, education funding, the question of whether to legalize and tax marijuana, public safety concerns and the restructuring of the Delaware Economic Development Office all demand attention. Governor Carney will share his perspectives on these issues and more, as well as his vision for Delaware?s future.
