The Delaware Local Food Exchange started as a food-buying club for people seeking high quality, locally sourced, organic food. Successful crowdfunding campaigns have been used twice to grow the business into a small grocery store in Wilmington’s Trolley Square neighborhood. Karen Igou will share her accidental journey into entrepreneurship including her experiences using crowdfunding to fuel her business's growth.
