Throughout its 33-year history, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. has built a solid reputation for excellence. This is due, in no small part, to a corporate culture that recognizes itself as an integral part of the community.
In the last year alone, the company has hosted canned food drives for local food pantries, donated dozens of cozy pajamas and books for children in the state’s foster care systems, and provided thousands of dollars in free tutoring to charitable organizations and schools. But, nowhere is the company’s commitment to the community more evident than in its ongoing effort to eradicate illiteracy in The First State.
For over 15 years, Back to Basics has partnered with the Delaware-based literacy non-profit Success Won’t Wait on a variety of literacy initiatives including hosting book drives, manning events, and delivering over 5,000 books through the organization’s February basket delivery and “Reading is Basic” programs across the state.
Annually, Back to Basics also partners with Success Won’t Wait at the Winterthur Point-to-Point Steeplechase. The company gives away over 500 brand new children’s books to young attendees, as well as essential information for parents and community leaders about reading milestones, literacy statistics, and important Delaware initiatives in order to raise awareness.
