During the 2017-18 Season, the Grand Opera House will serve more than 35,000 young people and their families with curriculum-based school matinees; music and dance classes; story-oriented children’s theater; and interactive arts events in neighborhood schools and parks, all of which are offered heavily subsidized and even free. We also have recently announced the addition of sensory friendly programming to our performance lineup, as we continue our commitment to new audiences and to providing positive theater experiences for every patron in a welcoming environment.
