[Newark, DE. Feb. 2023] –  Bernice Whaley, Ph.D., is the new Leader of Placers Professional, a division of Delaware-based staffing company Placers.
 

“Building on my successes as a leader in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors, I am now applying my experience to lead and help grow Placers Professional, where I am able to couple mentorship with my passion for helping organizations,” said Whaley. “At Placers, we have an incredible team that’s dedicated to its brand promise – ‘consultant to business and a coach to the workforce.’ ” 

Before joining Placers Professional team, Whaley served as Director of Development and later Director of Advancement at St. Andrews School, full boarding, private high school, Middletown, DE. Prior to her tenure at St. Andrews, she worked with the Delaware Economic Office, first as its Deputy Director and later as its Cabinet Secretary Director.

Whaley holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business and a Masters in Organizational Leadership, both from Wilmington University, and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Marketing Management from University of Delaware.
