In light of the COVID-19 crisis, Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore has announced they have moved their annual Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge to August 21-22, 2020. The event will still take place at the 76ers Fieldhouse in Wilmington, DE. The Volleyball Challenge raises critically needed funds for Easterseals who provides exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy so that people living with autism and other disabilities can live, learn, work and play in our communities.

Recently, Easterseals had to make the difficult decision to temporarily suspend some of their programs. This makes fundraising that much more critical. While the date has changed, many of the aspects of the event have not changed. The 2020 Volleyball Challenge will still offer a corn hole tournament, vendor fair, kid zone, raffle baskets and so much more. For more information about the event, contact Stephanie “Steff” DiMartine at sdimartine@esdel.org.

Teams consist of 6 to 10 players who play teams of similar ability in non-competitive play. Exciting prizes will be awarded to the top fundraising individuals and teams. Registration is open for the Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge at www.volleyballchallenge.com to register a team, volunteer or donate to the event.

Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore offers a range of services, including children’s therapies, assistive technology, recreational camping, day programs for adults with physical or intellectual disabilities, and respite services for caregivers.
