Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Delaware Hosts 37th Annual Golf Event With Guest Speaker Jim “Bones” McKay

WILMINGTON, DELAWARE – September 19, 2025: Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Delaware hosted its 37^th Annual Golf Event presented by Mastercard on September 15, 2025 at Wilmington Country Club.

Lead sponsors included Mastercard (Presenting Sponsor), Tito's Handmade Vodka, Breakthru Beverage Delaware, Union Park Automotive Group, and Bread Financial Holdings, Inc.
 

The reception included a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, silent and live auctions, Golf Ball Helicopter Drop Raffle, dinner, an inspiring story from a Ronald McDonald House family, and special remarks from Jim “Bones” McKay, who served as Phil Mickelson’s caddie for 25 years.

This year’s Golf Event was a great success, raising over $300,000 for RMHCGDE.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a “home-away-from-home” for families of seriously ill children who need a place to stay while their child receives treatment at an area hospital. A family may stay at our House whether the child is hospitalized or receiving outpatient treatment.
