Provide us a brief description of your business?

I help customers with all their financial needs pertaining to Residential Home Homes and Commercial Business. Everything from new home purchase, refinance, or business loans.

How many years have you been in business?

I have personally been in the business for 20yrs, I started in the business when I was 19 years old.

What is an interesting fact about your business most people do not know?

That you don’t have to have PERFECT credit to buy a home, also the state of DE offers assistance for those borrowers that need help with down payment money to buy their first home.

How do you market your business?

I’m old school, I like to hit the pavement and meet people face to face and build relationships along with using social media flat form, real estate book, and other forums.

How are people aware of your business?

They are made aware via social media platforms, word of mouth, and my referral partners who trust me an refer to their friends and family.

How do the economic and political environments impact your business during COVID-19? For my team it has been business as usual, surprisingly as a branch we have had some record breaking months during COVID-19 where we have been successful helping customers save money on their present mortgage and obtaining lower rates based on the economic environment we are in. As a mortgage company we did make some adjustments in the way we lend to ensure we protect ourselves as a leader in the mortgage industry

What motivated Guaranteed Rate Mortgage to become a Chamber member?

We wanted to be sure we had a local presence in the communities so everyone would know that we were their local lender of choice. People want to work with companies that they are familiar with in their “backyard” as it were. Also not including the new relationships formed within the Chamber not just personal but professional.

How long have you been a Chamber member? 

Since 6/25/2019

What aspect of the chamber have you taken advantage of the most?

Long lasting relationships and partnerships created and introduced through the chamber itself.

How has the chamber helped your business?

It has created an opportunity to help more people in the local communities and created some partnerships that have been everlasting.

What motivates you?

Knowing that I was the person to help change the life of another and help them accomplish one of the biggest dreams in America “of owning a home/or some sought of real estate.

When you are not working, where do you like to spend your time?

With my family, wife & 3 girls along my love for cars. Such as car shows, local car events, I enjoy looking at beautiful super cars and exotic vehicles.

What advice would you give a new (or current) chamber members?

NOT to be afraid to step out your comfort zone, get out there and join, be open to endless opportunities and new partnerships. Be a LEADER in your community!
