Member Spotlight - Cornerstone Health Partners, President Anne Weaver

Professional History & Experience 
Cornerstone Health Partners has been in business since 2017.

Cornerstone is a privately owned company that manages the in-home care for Delawareans in New Castle and Kent County. They assist with patient care post-hospitalization, rehab, or after treatment for illnesses and provide communication to families through our HIPPA compliant software while caring for people's loved ones. Not to mention, they offer support to the current generation that is working, raising families, and caring for aging parents.

President Anne Weaver enjoys the relief families feel when they come in, and provide the care and support they need. "I know how much our services are needed in caring for people's loved ones. I love that we have a superior team of professionals to give this service and care for families", said Anne.

Strategies Cornerstone has found to be the most effective in promoting their business are following up and maintaining relationships with previous clients. Organic relationships with clients have been one of the most rewarding strategies for Cornerstone.

A challenge Cornerstone has faced in its years of operation is the state licensing process through the Department of Health and Social Services. President, Anne Weaver, said, "We are thrilled to have that behind us." Cornerstone seeks businesses to collaborate with and add value for their clients, such as transportation. One partnership they are currently forming is with another Chamber member, Delaware Hospice. This is an excellent partnership for Cornerstone and Delaware Hospice. It will allow them to provide end-of-life care and other services needed and created by this partnership.

Chamber Experience 
We asked Anne, why did you join the Chamber? "We came to an information session in 2018. I knew immediately it was the perfect support system and supply of critical resources for our newly formed Company," said Anne.

We are happy to have Cornerstone as a loyal member. They have taken advantage of many of our workshops and attended events to listen to guest speakers from the business community. One that stands out to Anne is the workshop on grant writing, and the department of labor was beneficial to them. "We now have Alysse and Bob in our corner assisting us with our marketing presence," said Anne.  

When you're not helping your customers, how do you like to spend your time? 
"When I am not helping my clients, I enjoy time with my family and gardening," said Anne.
