DESCRIPTION:As a busy entrepreneur or small business owner\, are you taking care of yourself? \n\n\n\nSelf-care is an essential for your personal and professional success\, and helping to combat the mental stressors of running a business\, especially during a pandemic.\n\n\n\nJoin us on Friday\, May 14 at 10 a.m. with Ashley Harriz from Mid-Atlantic Behavioral Health who will be joining us on Emerging Enterprise Center and NCC Chamber of Commerce Facebook LIVE pages share self-care tips that can improve your overall wellbeing\, and answering your questions.\n\n\n\nThis free series is in partnership with Mid-Atlantic Behavior Health in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month to provide tools and strategies to overcome common struggles entrepreneurs and small business owners face.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker \n\n\n\nAshley obtained her Master's Degree in Counseling with a focus on Trauma at Rosemont College. Previously\, Ashley received her Bachelor's degree at Pennsylvania State University\, where she majored in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. Additionally\, she holds certificates in Forensic Psychology (Rosemont) and Youth Development and Social Justice (PSU).\n\n\n\nPrior to joining Mid Atlantic Behavioral Health\, Ashley worked as an Adult Social Worker in the inpatient setting at the Rockford Center. While there she gained practical knowledge working with individuals who struggled with depression\, anxiety\, borderline personality disorder\, mood disorders\, co-occurring disorders\, addiction and psychosis.\n\n\n\nAshley works with both adolescents and adults to help identify and build individualized treatment(s) that meet their specific needs by utilizing evidence based practices such as cognitive behavioral strategies\, mindfulness and dialectical behavior strategies. Ashley takes pride in providing a trauma informed\, therapeutic environment that promotes growth and overall well-being.
