Community Art Project with Artist-In-Residence Charles Edward Williams

We're thrilled to announce our new Artist-In-Residence Charles Edward Williams!

Through a partnership with the Delaware Art Museum, Wilmington Alliance has helped bring Williams to the Art-O-Mat, his place of residency, through Aug. 13, 2023. Williams will be undertaking one of his largest projects to date, using multicolored wax and black paint to reinterpret the famous 1940s photo “Easter Morning in Chicago."

And you--the community--are invited to participate! Join Williams for a Community Art Project on:

·        Aug. 4 from 12-2 PM and/or 5-7 PM

·        Aug. 7 from 12-2 PM and/or 5-7 PM

·        Aug. 8 from 12-2 PM and/or 5-7 PM

Together, Williams will guide artists to help him create the multicolored wax layer of the project. Register today.
