Blue Blaze Associates presents Conversations with Women Making a Difference on February 6, 2020, at the Delaware Art Museum. The inspirational event features a panel discussion with three influential women offering career highlights, life stories, and hard-earned wisdom. All proceeds are donated to local nonprofits. WHAT: Conversations with Women Making a Difference WHEN: Thursday, February 6, 2020 5:30–7:30 p.m. WHERE: Delaware Art Museum 2301 Kentmere Parkway Wilmington, DE 19806 TICKETS: $35 before January 31, $40 The three panelists for February 6, 2020 are: Claudia Peña Porretti, CEO, Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay, is a seasoned nonprofit leader and strong advocate for children through her work with Girls, Inc., La Esperanza, Victims Immigration Services program, Prevent Alcohol and Substance Abuse (PASA) and Latin American Community Center. Kathy Jennings, Attorney General of Delaware, has prosecuted dozens of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homicide cases and served as State Prosecutor, Chief Deputy Attorney General and Chief Administrative Officer of New Castle County. Lossie Freeman - Director of Corporate Partnerships, Zip Code Wilmington, has experience in financial roles as a licensed broker-dealer on the JPMorgan Listed Equity Trading Desk and a clerk on the New York Stock Exchange, she worked in the Economic/Political section at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, China and served as Special Assistant to Mayor Mike Purzycki for Employment Initiatives for the City of Wilmington.
