Description

On October 10th, the Delaware Art Museum will host the next event in a series of conversations with women making a difference in Delaware. All are welcome -- men and women -- to an evening that promises to be both fun and inspirational. Carol Arnott-Robbins, founder of NEWS4Women, will facilitate a panel discussion with Doneene Damon, Dr. Velma Scantlebury, and Amira Idris Radovic, followed by a Q&A session. Topics will include career highlights, life stories, and hard-earned wisdom from these three influential women. The evening will also include a short preview of an upcoming exhibit at the Art Museum, Posing Beauty in African American Culture, which opens on October 19. Early-bird tickets are $35 until October 4, when the ticket price will be raised to $40. Tickets will be sold at the door.
