GBC Homecoming is back, and this year, the spotlight is bigger than ever! Join Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday, October 3, for a full day of tailgating, food trucks, family-friendly fun, and Lightning athletics. Even better? *The College Tour* will be filming on campus for GBC’s upcoming episode! The national television series, streaming on Amazon Prime, will feature GBC as the first Delaware school to appear on the show. The fun starts at 10 AM with tailgating. Bring your lawn chairs, decorate your car, wear your blue and gold, and settle in for a day on campus. Throughout Homecoming, enjoy food trucks, vendors, inflatables, kids’ activities, face painting, balloon art, caricatures, a photo booth, henna, a scholarship fundraising dunk tank, and more. And, of course, there’s plenty of Lightning athletics: • 10 AM | Tailgating lot opens • 11 AM | Homecoming activities begin • 12 PM | Women’s Volleyball • 12 PM | Women’s Soccer • 1:30 PM | Scholarship Dunk Tank • 2:30 PM | Men’s Soccer • 3 PM | Women’s Basketball Scrimmage Keep an eye on the games, too. We may have a few Homecoming surprises planned for halftime. Bring your family, grab some food, cheer on the Lightning, and experience Homecoming while GBC gets ready for its close-up.
