Join us for a discussion with Governor Carney at the HOTEL DU PONT on June 15th!
Governor Carney was elected in 2016 after serving three terms as Delaware’s member of the House of Representatives. Upon taking office in January of 2017, Governor Carney was faced with a $400 million shortfall. Despite the fiscal challenges facing the state, his administration succeeded in restructuring the Delaware Department of Economic Development and in passing key reforms to the Coastal Zone Act. This year, the Carney Administration successfully negotiated a deal with the private sector which will aid in guaranteeing the future of the Port of Wilmington, and successfully sought passage of legislation to approve it. Come and hear Governor Carney’s thoughts on the key issues facing Delaware as we near the end of the 149th General Assembly.
Lunch will be served. If you have any dietary restrictions, please indicate so in your registration.
