Reentry—The Need for Partnership is a half-day conference, designed to: • Educate employers/companies on the benefits and legal requirements around hiring people with criminal records. • Provide resource information for employers • Establish collaboration between Delaware’s business community and reentry service providers to assist in the design and implementation of programing that build the skills of people with criminal records and targets to reduce recidivism. • Discuss how businesses, reentry service provider, workforce development providers and the Department of Corrections can partner together to improve employment outcomes for people with criminal records and mitigate barriers to employment.
