As you know, the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service's recently announced that the federal income tax filing due date is automatically extended from April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020. Taxpayers can also defer federal income tax payments to July 15, 2020, without penalties and interest, regardless of the amount owed. This deferment applies to all taxpayers, including individuals, trusts and estates, corporations and other non-corporate tax filers as well as those who pay self-employment tax.
Join Alex Lalani, CPA, to learn more about these recent developments and how this will affect individual taxpayers as well as businesses. He will also touch on the quad state area (PA, DE, NJ, MD) extensions of due dates and what Whisman Giordano and Associates is doing to keep their employees and clients safe from the spread of the virus.
