Join us for the 33rd Annual Women’s Leadership Conference on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. Connect with women in all levels of business, resources, educational and business opportunities, and be inspired.
This year’s conference, She’s Got Game, focuses on building deep connections among an intergenerational group of women, empowerment in the workplace, expanding your network and more. Workshops will be led by topic experts that rise above in their everyday life and are focused on offering you a guide to continued success. Keynote address will be given by Chrissi Rawak, Director of Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation, University of Delaware.

- Workshop 1: Level Up Your Personal Brand | Featuring Alex Parkowski, of Aloysius Butler & Clark, and Alexis Harris, of First State Destinations.
- Understand the new normal of networking, in-person and influence on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
- Use AI and ChatGPT to advance your online presence
- Create and communicate your brand slogan, your "elevator pitch"
- Workshop 2: Building The Bench | Featuring Michelle Washington, of Women of MORE Magazine, Sara Wagner, of Richards, Layton & Finger, and Shana Hilliard, of CSC.
- Shift shock and the importance of position transparency - How many people have started a job with excitement only to realize it wasn't what they expected?
- Quiet hiring and quiet quitting: What not to do to achieve employee loyalty
- Talent retention and new schools of thought that makes talent want to stay and feel inspired to contribute fully
- Workshop 3: Is It Them or Is It Me? | Featuring Maria Hess Ed.D., of Wilmington University, Sharon Kelly Hake, of Great Dames, Melissa Carson, of Canopy Strategies, and Allison Garrett, of Pamper Perfect.
- How to work with people you don't like
- Let's "take this offline" and "circle back" to common professionalism issues (loud laborers, "per my last email", etc.)
