Home Care Companion
Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Companion to join our team. As a Home Care Companion, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their homes, helping them to live as independently as possible. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide a variety of services, including:
- Companionship and emotional support
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Monitoring vital signs and other health indicators
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist clients with transportation, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to the RN
- Document all care provided in the client's medical record
Qualifications:
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation
- At least one year of experience as a Home Care Companion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
