It all started when Kate lost her fiancé in the line of duty during a fire in 2016. Losing her partner changed who she was and the things she viewed as important. Kate found herself wondering about her future and searching for her next steps. She was grateful to be surrounded by a group of women who supported her and she knew she wanted to help others as she had been helped during her time of need. When she got back on her feet Wingmom was born. As Wingmom grew, Kate knew what her calling was and vowed to create an extensive support system for people in need of a little extra help.
