Lifefire Weight & Wellness Celebrates Grand Opening of Second Location with a Ribbon Cutting

Wilmington, Delaware - On Monday, August 12, 2024, Lifefire Weight and Wellness held a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of their new location in Trolley Square. The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Lifefire staff, business leaders, and local community members attended to celebrate and tour the facility.

The Lifefire Weight & Wellness mission is to empower individuals through personalized medical weight loss, IV infusions, injections, and men's health services dedicated to helping clients achieve their health goals and improve their overall quality of life. Having this new business open in New Castle County begins a remarkable journey towards optimal health and well-being for its residents. 

"We chose to open a location in Delaware because of its vibrant community and strategic location, which provides us with the opportunity to serve a wider client base. Our Delaware location will enhance our business growth by reaching more individuals seeking comprehensive wellness solutions," says Founder and Nurse Practitioner Katie Thompson-Mayes. The Delaware location is the second brick-and-mortar for this business, the first in Havertown, Pennsylvania.
