atTAcK addiction Launches Website Redesign to Better Serve Individuals, Families in Delaware

GLASGOW (Aug. 21, 2025) – To better connect individuals living with substance use disorder, those in recovery, and their families to the services and supports they need, atTAcK addiction has launched a more user-friendly redesign of its website, www.atTAcKaddiction.org.

For the past several months, working with the regional marketing firm, Aloysius, Butler & Clark (AB&C), members of atTAcK addiction have updated the content, visuals and navigation of the nonprofit’s website to better help individuals and families navigate what can be a complex world of prevention, treatment and recovery services and resources, especially for families facing a crisis.

“We remember what it was like to sit down in front of our computer with our son, Tyler, trying to find the right treatment services for him,” said Don and Jeanne Keister, co-founders of atTAcK addiction. “It took us hour after hour, and we were on our own.” Sadly, the Keisters’ son, Tyler, died of an accidental heroin overdose in December 2012.

Two months after Tyler’s death, in February 2013, the Keisters founded the grassroots, statewide nonprofit, atTAcK addiction, to help families get the information and resources they need to connect their loved one to treatment and recovery services, and to offer prevention, education, and harm-reduction resources to the overall community. “Through our improved website, we hope to be a first stop for those Delaware families desperate for information and a path forward.”

“Working with atTAcK addiction to redesign their website has been a true honor. It is a direct reflection of the commitment we have made as an agency to help raise awareness of and access to addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery resources in Delaware,” said Alex Parkowski, owner and managing director, Government Division at AB&C. “This newly launched site will allow Delaware residents a faster and easier path to getting information they are seeking, while also highlighting atTAcK addiction’s relentless dedication to erase the stigma of addiction and save lives.”

The Keisters said the website also offers information for Delawareans who want to get involved in atTAcK addiction events, including the annual 5K and monthly meetings; to locate a chapter near them; to find volunteer opportunities, or to support the organization. “We are grateful to the team at AB&C for their passion and commitment in helping us turn our vision into a reality.”

Highlights of the redesigned website, include:

  • An initial pop-up page with critical services and support for individuals and families facing a substance use disorder crisis.

  • A page on how to apply for admission to one of atTAcK addiction’s five recovery residences across the state – four for men and one for women; or to apply for a recovery housing scholarship to help pay a portion of the first month’s rent at an Oxford House or comparable recovery housing.
  • Information in one place about the programs that atTAcK addiction offers, including its Resource Center in Peoples Plaza shopping center in Glasgow, free Narcan training, requesting a prevention-based atTAcK addiction expert to speak at a local school, and our People Empowering People (PEP) Team, which provides free one-on-one coaching to family members who have a loved one struggling with substance use disorder.
